Welcome to our Wyre Forest Pub Debate where the candidates will answer a series of questions in front of a boisterous and hard to please audience at the Boar's Head in Kidderminster. The Conservatives, Health Concern, Labour, the Lib Dems, UKIP and the Greens are all taking part.

Mark Garnier was the Conservative MP for the Wyre Forest during the last parliament. He says that, during that time unemployment has fallen from around 2,500 to just under 1,000. He says he's proud of his record of helping to bring investment into the Wyre Forest and, if re-elected, he'll focus on improving standards of living in the area.聽

Dr Richard Taylor is a retired NHS doctor with more than 25 years experience working in Kidderminster Hospital. He was the Independent Community Health Concern MP for the Wyre Forest between 2001 and 2010. He says he wants to return to parliament to help express public anger over the coalition government's handling of the NHS.

Matthew Lamb (Labour)

Matthew Lamb (Labour)
Matthew Lamb says the Wyre Forest has been going in the wrong direction since 2010. He says Labour will ensure the deficit is paid off in a fair way and make sure the economy is run for the benefit of the many and not the few. He says Labour will save the NHS and ensure immigration is dealt with in a firm but fair way.

Andy Crick says you should elect him to help the Liberal Democrats continue the achievements they've made over the last five years. He says that his party have worked hard over the last parliament to achieve stability and halve the deficit. He wants to invest in jobs, young people and the NHS.

Michael Wrench (UKIP)

Michael Wrench is a UKIP district councillor in the Wyre Forest. He says UKIP's success in last year's local and European elections has proven that the party has enough support to make a difference. He says UKIP is the only party that will listen to you at this general election.

Natalie McVey (Green)

Natalie McVey (Green)
Natalie Mcvey is the first general election candidate ever to stand for the Green Party in the Wyre Forest. She says she believes in fairness, equality, breaking down barriers and in people and the planet rather than profiteering and privitisation.
