The daydreams of a hostage
In 2007 British IT contractor Peter Moore was taken hostage by Shia militia in Iraq. He was held for more than two and a half years before being released. For much of the time he was kept chained and in isolation. He describes how his mind began to fill the emptiness of his days with daydreams of escape and comfort.
