Caroline Lucas on horses 'raced to death'
Caroline Lucas has suggested some 400 horses are "raced to death essentially" each year.
The Green party's only MP in the last parliament was speaking ahead of its manifesto launch on Tuesday, which will call for a "peaceful political revolution" to end austerity and tackle climate change.
Ms Lucas ruled out backing a Conservative budget, and said her party would handle any possible coalition with the Labour party on a "case-by-case basis".
