Russia: A New tide of Patriotism
The second episode of a special series by Bridget Kendall on Russia's economy.
Russia has been in the grip of a new tide of patriotic feeling. It has grown even more intense as its conflict with the West over Ukraine has worsened.
It has been fuelled by preparations for a big anniversary. May 9th is the 70th anniversary of end of the World War Two in Europe.
In the second of her reports from Russia, Bridget Kendall explored how far the new patriotic mood in Russia has reshaped its sense of who are its allies and who are its enemies.
