'The biggest challenge was educating people about ecommerce'
While online shopping is booming in India, local laws prevent the big players from selling directly to the public. Instead they act as platforms or marketplaces for other companies to sell their products.
One of the Big Three is Snapdeal. It specialises in working with small businesses and 100,000 firms already use it to sell everything from clothes and books to furniture and laptops.
The 大象传媒's Shilpa Kannan asked Snapdeal co-founder Rohit Bansal what the biggest struggle had been.
