Floor Work Contraction & Release in First Position.
In this movement the dancer takes the natural rhythm of exhale/inhale and turns it into a whole-body contraction (the tightening of muscles) and release (or letting go). The release here is equally important. Featuring Sandrine Monin from Phoenix Dance Theatre.
