The Hugo Awards are science fiction's most prestigious literary prizes, and it's the fans who choose the nominees - but this year they've become caught up in the culture wars. A slate of books pushed by the so-called "Sad Puppies" fan campaign dominates 2014's nominations list, and that's upset some writers whose books were chosen as part of it.
