Lily Cole: Buy things 'made with love'
Two years ago 1,133 people died when the Rana Plaza clothing factory in Bangladesh collapsed. Since then, much has changed. Campaign groups, politicians, even garment brands have described it as a turning-point for an industry with one of the lowest rates of pay and poorest safety records in the world.
One woman who's more than qualified to talk about the effect that fashion has on supply chains is model Lily Cole. She's walked for Chanel, Versace and McQueen but she's also an entrepreneur and runs a social networking website called impossible.com. Impossible has just launched a marketplace platform which promotes sustainable goods.
The 大象传媒's Lucy Burton caught up with her at a social entrepreneurship conference in Oxford.
