Review of Russell Brand and Ed Miliband video

We asked three members of 大象传媒's Generation 2015 panel to tell us what they thought - Jess Taberner (20), Gareth Shoulder (24) and KYEode Damali (23).

CONTAINS MILD LANGUAGE.

Russell Brand, well known for not voting, has sat down with the Labour Leader Ed Miliband and recorded an interview with him.

Before the video was released, David Cameron described the encounter as a joke. But supporters of Ed Miliband argued that engaging with Russell Brand, who has almost ten million followers on Twitter, would be a good way to engage with younger, perhaps disenchanted voters.

The 大象传媒 has established a panel of young voters called Generation 2015. 200 of them have been carefully chosen to reflect a diverse range of backgrounds and political leanings, and are exploring what the election means for young people.

We asked three members of that panel to watch the Russell Brand interview with Ed Miliband and tell us what they thought.

Jess Taberner is 20: she can't stand Russell Brand. She's standing as a Conservative council candidate.

Gareth Shoulder is 24, and a magician. He aligns himself with Russell Brand in that he says he is disillusioned non-voter and very distrustful of the current political system.

And KYEode Damali is 23 and an affiliate marketer. He says he's an undecided voter who doesn't care.
