Amaju Pinnock outlines vision for Nigerian football
The President of the Nigerian Football Federation has told the ´óÏó´«Ã½ of his ambitious plans to improve both the governance of the sport and increase their chances of success at the next World Cup.
The lines between politics in sport are often blurred but in Africa sometimes it's nearly impossible to tell one from the other.
Indeed, when Amaju Pinnick took control of the NFF it was only after a previous election, which put someone else in power, had been declared null and void by FIFA.
Pinnick says his priority is to do more than just move sport and politics further apart, he wants them to be completely separate as soon as possible.
