Bennett challenged over Greens lack of climate policies
Natalie Bennett has defended the Green Party's policies ahead of the election on May 7.
When asked about the lack of proposals about fuel duty and cars, Natalie Bennett replied that public transport needed to be improved first:
鈥淧eople need an alternative; you cannot say to people 鈥榞et out of your cars鈥 if you鈥檙e not providing them with a reliable, affordable, convenient alternative.鈥
Bennett was positive when asked what she thought of the party's campaign:
鈥淚 think I have had an excellent campaign, I have really enjoyed it, and I have really enjoyed getting the message of green policies, set by the now more than 61,000 members, and looking forward to an absolutely record result on the May 7," she said.
