Mums joy as son receives 100s of cards from strangers
A mother who pleaded online for people to wish her lonely son a happy birthday says seeing his "happy reaction was wonderful".
Molly Povey from Devon was upset when her 11-year-old son Roman said he had no friends at school so she "put a plea out on Facebook looking for support from local friends or school parents".
Roman received over 200 birthday cards from around the world after Molly's original post went viral.
"When we came in yesterday there was twenty or thirty children waiting at the gate with cards for him - absolutely phenomenal - when I picked him up he said 'best day of my life'," added Molly Povey.
