Bodycams for Cops?
The death of Freddie Gray, a 25-year-old black man who died from a spinal cord injury apparently sustained in police custody, has reignited calls for transparency and accountability in American police departments. Some are proposing police body cameras as a way forward. Inspector Stephen Goodier heads the body-worn video department of the Hampshire police force in the south of England, and wrote the book on how cameras should be used in Britain.
