Military Plan to Fight People Traffickers
Libya opposes military plan against people trafficking; Euro talks; Liberia post-Ebola
The European Union's top diplomat Federica Mogerheini is heading to New York to ask for United Nations backing for a military campaign against people traffickers. The point of departure for many migrants is Libya, which has two rival governments. One is represented at the UN - and its ambassador Ibrahim Dabbashi says he opposed the plans.
Greece is due to pay 770 million Euros to pay off part of its loans. But to do that it needs to get the next slice of the 7.2 billion Euro bailout.
Liberia has been delcared Ebola free. The devastating epidemic claimed more than 4,000 lives in the country and President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has been describing the challenges facing the country post-Ebola.
