Sonia: And The Winner... Isn't!

Eurovision contestant Sonia celebrates some of the ditties deserving of those douze points, they came close but their songs live on.

Sonia presents "And The Winner Isn't" a celebration of the many contestants and ditties deserving of those douze points. For the next hour, the lady who indeed hit the post herself and came in second place in 1993 with the catchy "Better The Devil You Know" will reminisce about those songs that live on. Who knew that "Volare - Nel Blu Dipinto di Blu" by Domenico Modugno from Italy came 3rd but it's the most commercially successful song ever to lose the Eurovision and it remains the only song contest entry to win a Grammy Award... beat that Abba! And who can forget Cliff Richard and "Congratulations" it only came second in 1968 but Cliff consoled himself with a number Number 1 hit single in the UK Charts. Here in the UK everyone loves a loser and we'll share the love throughout the show.
