The uses of 3D printing

Professor Danielle George explains how 3D printing works and shows us an object being printed in real time. She presents an audience member with a model bust made from a scan, showing how detailed 3D printing can be. Danielle reveals a more serious and beneficial use for the technology, and speaks with 5 year old Hayley Fraser who wears a 3D printed prosthetic hand.
