Wisbech couple refuse to vote after pet dog denied entry to polling station
Mick and Rita Howard ripped up their polling cards after their dog Daisie was not allowed in. Mick Howard has been telling Paul Hayes what happened. Fenland District Council told the 大象传媒: "There's no legal requirement to let pets in to polling stations. Because we can't guarantee a particular animal's temperament or behaviour, our policy is to allow only guide or 'assistance' dogs in. That's the norm for many public buildings and most people are happy with that. We're obviously sorry if any voters have been inconvenienced."
