The actor Toby Jones, who plays Neil Baldwin in 大象传媒 Two's Marvellous, says Neil himself predicted on many occasions that the show would win a BAFTA.
Neil became kit man with Stoke City Football Club, despite having learning difficulties, and tonight the show based on his life won two BAFTAs.
It picked up best single drama, and Gemma Jones, who played Baldwin's mother, Mary, won best supporting actress. She told 5 live that Neil has "been very chuffed" but he "just presumed that it was going to happen".
"Since we started filming," says Toby Jones, Neil has "been predicting being at the BAFTAs. He's always been clear, and there he was, delivering the speech. It was a very, very moving moment for us.
