Grandson: The little ships of Dunkirk saved my Grandfather
In 1940 the little ships of Dunkirk sailed from Ramsgate to Dunkirk, to rescue more than 338,000 British and French soldiers who were trapped on the beaches there during the Second World War.

Joe said his grandfather managed to get on the ship 鈥渏ust in time before the Germans took over鈥.
