Nepal 1 Month On
Anu Anand was in Nepal shortly after the huge quake that struck the country a month ago. Now she's back to find out how some of the people she met are doing.
Anu Anand returns to Nepal to see how people are coping one month after the devastating quake which killed over 8,000 people.
She finds a nation traumatised by constant aftershocks and a second big quake, people too frightened to sleep inside, and buildings being demolished by hand from the upper floors.
Among the personal stories we鈥檒l hear: the four year old girl whose leg has been amputated, and her father who can鈥檛 bear to tell her what鈥檚 happened; Kulpana, whose home has gone but is relieved her family are safe; and factory owner Shailesh whose wife has just given birth to a baby.
We're live from a tent camp in Kathmandu. Our guests include people in the camp, Kulpana, business owners, aid workers and others.
