An Aardman Series Director says, 鈥測ou will see thumbprints on Morph鈥� when the clay figure returns to television next month, for the first time in 15 years.

Merlin Crossingham said Morph, who was created in 1977, was back thanks to popular demand.

鈥淚t鈥檚 really a case of our fans getting in touch with us and going why haven鈥檛 you made any Morph in ages?鈥� said Crossingham.

鈥淚t wasn鈥檛 that we鈥檇 stopped making Morph, it鈥檚 just that we were making Wallace and Gromit and Shaun The Sheep, we鈥檇 taken our eye off the ball. Really it was the fans motivating us make more Morph so we did,鈥� he added.
