Assisted Dying

Sophie Sulehria debates whether assisted dying should be made legal.

The case of Jeffrey Spector the father-of-three who died this week at the Dignitas centre in Switzerland, has reignited the debate about assisted dying.

This week we'll discuss the issue with those for and against it. We'll hear from a woman from Buckinghamshire who travelled to Switzerland to be with her brother when he died there.

And we'll speak to the Bishop of Hertford Michael Beasley who opposes assisted dying.
