Returning to the place where your loved one died
BH brought together three people with direct experience of loss about why returning to the place where your loved on died can be therapeutic - or, in some cases, impossible. Joy Bennett's son died in the North Tower of the World Trade Centre on 9/11; Patti Lynch's mother was killed in a pub in Manchester and, firstly, Nazan Fennell, whose daughter was killed by a lorry near their family home.
Patti Lynch is a trustee of the charity Support After Murder and Manslaughter (www.samm.org.uk)
Nazan Fennell set up the campaign Live In Hope (www.liveinhope.net)
Joy Bennett set up the charitable trust The Oli Bennett Charitable Trust (www.olibennett.com)
