Man who gave up TV: I have 'enhanced' imagination
A man who has avoided television for 35 years says the experience has "enhanced" his imagination.
Mossy Power's revelation came hours after Pope Francis revealed that he had not watched the box for almost twenty-five years.
Power said his own family have "so much else to do - we read a lot, we play a lot of games, when it's not raining we're out and about. We listen to your cousins Radio 4 but we've never had a television. "
"On the surface of it we're missing out quite a lot but when you dig down quite a lot we have friends who enjoy coming up because there isn't this kind of constant chatter and distraction," he added.
