Poachers decimating Mozambique's elephants
Poachers have killed almost half the elephant population of Mozambique, according to the Wildlife Conservation Society. Their numbers have declined to around 10,300 from just over 20,000. James Deutsch of the US-based Wildlife Conservation Society tells Newsday what has been happening in Mozambique.
