The descant for a royal wedding
Marion Dodd, whose grandfather wrote the descant to Crimond, and Harriet Bowes Lyon recount how her mother Lady Margaret Colville taught the descant to the Queen and Princess Margaret and was later summoned to Westminster Abbey to sing it when, two days before the royal wedding, the descant music could not be found.
