Danish goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen is tackling the Cycle across America. On 27th June, he'll begin the 4000 miles charity bike ride from the East to West Coast over 52 days.
Now out of contract with Stoke, Sorensen is training in Majorca which is where he spoke to Sportsworld's Lee James. He discussed just why he took on this challenge, how it compares to playing football and his admiration for professional cyclists.
