Damage recovery in robots

This six legged robot is able to adapt the way it walks after receiving a mechanical injury. It manages to continue moving only two minutes after the damage is caused. The movement looks very organic and intelligent but is just a complex algorithm. This ability to rewhere difficult terrains leave robots prone to injury.
