The third of this season's Diamond League meetings took place in Eugene at the end of May - at the spiritual home of the sport in the United States - Hayward Field.

The venue - a stadium on a University campus - is looking forward to hosting the World Athletics Championships in 2021, after the sport's governing body bypassed the normal bidding process.

But why is Hayward Field so special for American track and field? Sportsworld's Steve Crossman spoke to the ´óÏó´«Ã½'s athletics commentator Ed Harry, live from Eugene.
