Professor Geeta Nargund, a top NHS fertility specialist has said that women hoping to get pregnant should start trying for a baby before they turn 30. Otherwise it means lots of people seeking IVF treatment in their 30s and 40s and placing "costly and largely unnecessary burden on the NHS".
