"Modern medicine neutralises the laws of natural selection"
Doctor Michel Odent says new reproductive medical methods will have effect on humans in the future. The French obstretrician has previously caused controversy by arguing that fathers should not be present during childbirth. In his new book "Do We Need Midwives" he wrote that modern obstetrics may be eroding women's ability to give birth naturally. He has been speaking to Newsday's James Copnall.
