Lawson singer: Liver failure 'a matter of life or death'
Lead singer of band Lawson, Andy Brown, says his liver failure 鈥渨as a matter of life or death鈥.
Brown, who named the band after a surgeon who previously performed life-saving surgery on a separate brain tumour, said the liver failure came while recording the band鈥檚 second album.
鈥淚 was getting iller and iller and iller,鈥 he said. 鈥淢y skin turned yellow, I lost a lot of weight.鈥
鈥淭hey put me on these steroids. It just started to regenerate and regenerate and after a few weeks I started to feel myself again. I feel so lucky really,鈥 he added.
