Heseltine warns ministers: Toe EU line
The Conservative former Deputy Prime Minister, Lord Heseltine, has said ministers must toe the government line on the EU to avoid 鈥渁bsolute chaos鈥.
PM David Cameron suggested he expects all members of the government to back him over any EU deal.
Lord Heseltine said the country could not be governed unless ministers had a 鈥渃lear view鈥 the public could 鈥渟upport collectively鈥.
Asked by 5 live鈥檚 John Pienaar if toeing the party line would lead to ministerial resignations, he responded: 鈥淭hat鈥檚 up to them isn鈥檛 it... if people feel that strongly, good luck."
