A man who says he was abused by the peer Greville Janner has told 5 Live Daily he feels "let down by the establishment" after a decision was made NOT to prosecute because he now suffers from dementia.
The independent inquiry examining historical child sex abuse in England and Wales WILL conduct a "full investigation" into claims against Lord Janner, but no criminal case will be brought.
5 Live Daily looks at some of the claims being made against Lord Janner.
First, Adrian Chiles spoke to a man who says the former Labour peer abused him as a child. And Peter Allen heard from a former Detective Inspector from Leicestershire police who carried out the initial investigation into Lord Janner. He says he was told not to arrest the then MP. It's important to say at the outset that, whilst the Director of Public Prosecutions said there was potentially a case for Lord Janner to answer, he hasn't been charged or convicted of any offence, and his family insist he's done nothing wrong.
