Competition winners grace the covers of new OS maps
Southampton based Ordnance Survey has been publishing maps since 1801 - at that time they were based in the Tower of London. A fire at the castle in 1841 prompted a move to Southampton, where they have had their offices ever since.
Their paper maps have been through many design changes, the 2015 outdoor leisure series feature competition winning cover pictures.
Managing director of OS Leisure Nick Giles has been telling 大象传媒 Radio Solent's reporter Neil Sackley about the new designs.
