Solving the energy crisis is a top priority, insists SA FM Nene
South Africa's energy crisis will take years to solve, but the effects of power outages are having a direct and immediate effect on the country's economy. The ratings agency Fitch have warned that the unstable supply of electricity has led it to cut its economic growth forecasts for both 2015 and 2016.
The government has said that resolving the energy challenge is a priority but can it be solved before the crisis drags economic growth even lower?
The 大象传媒鈥檚 Lerato Mbele sat down with South Africa's minister of finance, Nhlanhla Nene and asked him if there was any light at the end of the tunnel.
