Solar Impulse pilot explains preparations for five day non-stop flight
Andre Borschberg, pilot of the Solar Impulse plane - which is flying around the world using only solar power, speaks of his frustration at having to stay in Japan, waiting for weather conditions to change.
鈥淏reathing is extremely useful for this kind of situation,鈥 said the 62-year-old.
鈥淚 think the mental preparation is much more important than the physical one.鈥
Borschberg can only sleep for 20 minutes at a time, and revealed his preparation for the flight includes yoga, meditation and deep breathing exercises.
The next leg of the journey should finish in Hawaii and will involve flying constantly for five days and nights.
