Jeremy Corbyn reached the threshold to get on the ballot paper with two minutes to spare.

The left wing candidate said the nomination process was 鈥渘ot a good one鈥� with MPs controlling who made it to the ballot paper, and some colleagues felt this was 鈥渦nfair and too high鈥�.

He hoped the party would emerge stronger after the campaign, and wanted it to be 鈥渕ore resolute in opposing the principles behind austerity and impoverishment of the poorest in Britain.鈥�

Mr Crobyn spoke to Jo Coburn on the Daily Politics about his campaign to be the next party leader.
