Music from the Streets of Kinshasa

Mbongwana Star is a new band from the Democratic Republic of Congo that mixes traditional rhythms and post punk sounds. The band is formed of five Congolese musicians and produced by the French-Irish DJ Liam Farrell, also known as Doctor L. Singer Theo Nzonza and Doctor L speak about how their unusual band got together.
