Judy Finnigan says she and her children have 鈥渂anned鈥� husband Richard Madeley from taking part in Strictly Come Dancing.

Finnigan, who ruled out appearing on the dance show herself due to ruptured anterior cruciate ligaments, said despite several approaches Madeley won鈥檛 be gracing the ballroom.

鈥淭he idea of him doing Strictly for me and the kids was just so spine tinglingly embarrassing鈥� said Finnigan. 鈥淲e鈥檝e banned him.鈥�

鈥淗e wouldn't ask me if he should do it,鈥� she added. 鈥淗e might mention it - there would be a huge collective sigh around the table 'oh no, oh no you're not going to do that are you?鈥� I'd be saying 'oh no, oh no, please don't鈥�."
