Talking about Looked After Children: Luton Underground
Luton Underground is funded by ´óÏó´«Ã½ Children in Need to provide activities and youth club support for a range of children and young people, including some who are in care.
The project, run by St Mary's Church, works across Luton and provides youth clubs, sport based activities and a young leaders programme to help young people to develop peer relationships, improve confidence and raise their aspirations.
The current three year grant of £39,000 pays for a Community Youth Work Assistant. Have a watch of this video to find out more about how this project improves the lives of children who are looked after.
