Essex RSPB explains why UK's Turtle Dove population has declined
The RSPB has discovered why the Turtle Dove is the UK's fastest declining bird.
Two-thirds of the UK population can be found in the East of England, with 12% of the breeding birds in Essex.
Turtle Dove numbers have dropped by 96% since 1970.
