The New Jerusalem Church
Worshipers call it 鈥淭he New Jerusalem鈥�. The Kimbangu Church is a huge building in Nkamba in the Democratic Republic of Congo. It is painted in green and white 鈥� the colour of hope and the colour of saintliness 鈥� and the spiritual leader of the church is referred to as a god. William Edmundson climbs up the New Jerusalem steps to meet him.
