Rehabilitation "bottom of the list" in "medieval" US prisons
A neglect of rehabilitation in the US prison system is leading to overcrowded jails and worsening job prospects for those released, says Paddy Hirsch from US radio show Marketplace. Meanwhile, prisoners in China can go from trial to execution in just two weeks, says David Moser, from Beijing Capital Normal University. They were talking to Fergus Nicoll.
