Sajid Javid: In any budget there are 'winners and losers'
The Business Secretary Sajid Javid has said Wednesday's budget "was not a regressive budget."
Speaking on the 大象传媒's Andrew Marr programme he insisted the richest would make the biggest contribution and said the introduction of the National Living Wage would benefit everyone.
The economy is strong enough to sustain higher wages, he insists. While there are always "some winners and some losers" from the tax and welfare changes, he says the package is "fair and well balanced".
