Australia dominate day one at Lord鈥檚
Coverage of England鈥檚 cricket matches with Jonathan Agnew and Geoffrey Boycott
Australia took full advantage of an unresponsive pitch to post 337-1 at the close and seize control of the second Test. Chris Rogers (158*) and Steve Smith (129*) were rarely troubled in amassing a record partnership of 259 which broke an 85-year record for Australia's second-wicket at Lord's. David Warner rather threw his wicket away, needlessly lobbing a catch to a retreating James Anderson off Moeen Ali鈥檚 first over of the day.
