Greece VAT rise - what impact on the hotel trade?
Eating out in Greece has suddenly become much more expensive, as the goverment imposes a 10% increase in VAT on food and other goods and services in order to satisfy its creditors. Angelo Sotiropoulos, of Athens Ledra Hotel, explains what this means for his hotel business and the tourist trade.
