The four-legged hugging snake
How did snakes evolve? Did they come from marine lizards or terrestrial burrowing lizards? A newly discovered four-legged fossil snake nicknamed the ‘Huggy Snake’ may have provided Nick Longrich at the University of Bath with the answer.
