Australian Court Overturns Government's Approval of Giant Coal Mine

An Australian court has overturned government approval for Indian company Adani's giant coal mine in Queensland. Critics challenged the decision in the Federal Court of Australia because of environmental concerns, including the threat posed to vulnerable species and damage to the Great Barrier Reef.

Egypt officially unveils an expanded Suez Canal on Thursday. It is one of the country's biggest construction projects since the original canal was built nearly 150 years ago.
