A man has been killed as at least 1,500 migrants tried to enter the Channel Tunnel in Calais on Tuesday night, French police have said. He is the ninth person to die trying to access the tunnel since June.
Ukip leader Nigel Farage told the Victoria Derbyshire programme that without radical action it was "only a matter of time" before a British holidaymaker or lorry driver was killed too.
